hope this isn't too bad anon. also i couldn't imagine jonghyun as a big brawny alphaJonghyun never considered his memory to be particularly good, but if there was one thing he remembered with distinct clarity, it was his first meeting with Kibum at the company. It only took a few minutes before he and Kibum were being huddled into the backseat of a car, headed towards their dorm. Jonghyun had volunteered to stay there with him, disliking the idea of Kibum being alone in this state and assuring their manager that he’d be fine, that he’d taken care of his sister many times before and knew what he was doing -- for the most part. Kibum was turning frighteningly pale, beads of sweat still dripping from his hairline even though he had begun shivering. Jonghyun didn’t like seeing him like this

It hadn’t been easy to shoo the other members out for the night. Minho had tried to reason with him, wanting to quickly grab a change of clothes out their bedroom but Jonghyun adamantly kept at his post, refusing him access. Taemin looked perplexed, Jinki looked mostly worried and Jonghyun was just about ready to growl if one of them tried to sneak past him again. He was forced to make up some story about how Kibum might be contagious, telling them it was the couch or the floor if they didn’t leave. They eventually settled to sleep over at Taemin’s and a few hours later, when Jonghyun was halfway to passing out on the couch, he suddenly realized that this might have been a bad idea after all because he could hear Kibum whimpering through the wall. He pulled his hoodie over his ears, buried his head into a corner of the couch and pressed his hips firmly into the cushion, refusing to believe this was really happening. He preferred completely ignoring the surge he felt as well as the stubborn hard-on he was sporting in favor of

Jonghyun had spent it much like the first, with his back to the bedroom door, woken up in the middle of the night by Kibum’s moans and the creaking of a mattress. He’d quickly learned that headphones helped a lot. The company had granted them a two day break and the rest had gone home to stay with their families. Jonghyun refused to leave Kibum alone and didn’t trust anyone else to stay with him, although he was beginning to trust himself less and less after his third trip to the bathroom to jerk off. It made him feel so dirty, and not only because Kibum was his best friend but because he almost sounded like he was in pain half the time

The fourth heat came unexpected. They were in Bukchon Hanok, setting up to film another episode of Hello Baby when Jonghyun realized Kibum had been missing on his bathroom break for a while already. He set out to find him, out of boredom at first, but worry began to settle in when he found the bathroom to be empty. That was when it hit him, doing quick math in his head, and all of a sudden it was as if he could not get to him fast enough

When Jonghyun entered their dorm alone that night, the other members having left to visit their families for the unexpected two day break, it was with a heavy heart and confused mind. The fact that he was doubting his decision upset him as much as it scared him. He went to bed with his ear buds tucked in, volume a little louder than usual and yet all he could hear when he closed his eyes were the tales he had heard so often as a kid; the ones about reckless alphas and their greed, the ones he had been warned against and how they may have been more accurate than he’d initially given them credit for

note: the timeline should be correct. this is referring to the 100712 star king shootBeing with Kibum had been incredible, actually. There was a closeness, a comfort between them that made it easy. Jonghyun knew Kibum’s body, had seen him naked already; there was no shame left between them. The way in which Kibum had entrusted him completely turned him on more than he wanted to admit. One of his most vivid memories of that night was lying tied with Kibum in his arms and his face in his neck, nuzzling and nipping the soft skin that smelled like it was made for just that, mixed with the sourness of fresh sweat. He’d woken up with a smile on his face and if it were any indication, Kibum’s lack of whimpers as he slept in that day was something to be proud of
