Rainy days, Puddles and dopplegangers

Yesterday's GSHW meeting went very well.  Our guest, Ty Drago (author of the upcoming MG novel, The Undertakers: Rise of the Corpses (Jabberwocky, Spring 2011) and owner of Allegory e-zine) was informative and entertaining.  Despite the terrible weather, a good number of people turned out to hear his talk.

I watched Paranormal Activity last night, scared the pants off me and now I'm imagining things.

Plus I'm working on two short stories. I think one is going to be a flash peice. Never wrote flash before.

Last time I attempted it, I had a hard time keeping to the minimum ammount. That's my problem, creating a story that small. It's the main reason I envy flash writers. :)

Rough over here. Six year old has had an ear infection since friday and it's been hell for her. We've been up and down the last two nights and now with the dalight savings change... ugh!

I plan on catching up on my sleep when she's in college. ;P
