The GSHW covers sci-fi and fantasy too. Personally, I don't write horror, though I often evoke that emotion from my readers ;)
I think a lot of folks confuse horror with blood and guts and gore, which it's not. To me, horror is the suspense and a feeling of dread, like in the old Hammer House of Horror movies.

I have subscribed for years to Writer's Digest & Creative Screenwriting. One to give me pointers on my writing and the other to give me pointers on my filmmaking. :)
There are a few more I would love to have but money would be the reason I do not get them. :)
