Android replicant? Video coverage/taping of one, whilst you attend the other? Cloning? Time Turner (trips tongue tastelier than time machine, but either works)?

Yes, for many, many things.

Of course, you can still write and shop at the same time, too. That's why they invented laptops, you know.

I know the need-to-clone-myself feeling very, very well. This week alone, between the 11th and the 17th, if there were four of me, one would at all four days of New York Comic Con, one would be at all three days of the New England Independent Booksellers Association trade show, one would be at all three days of Rock'n'Shock at the DCU Center, and one would be at the bookstore catching up on stuff that never ceases to pile up.

The work of Mother Octopus is never done. But, fingers crossed, some things on the to-do list of Mother Octopus will be crossed off this weekend.

Babysitting the grandboy on Friday, complete with a little stroll around Astoria on Friday, a gloriously lazy Saturday followed by an amazing dinner out with my honey (sitting near the kitchen is ALWAYS good when you're in with the chef!) and joined by friends for dessert. Today, the GARLIC FESTIVAL! It was faboo, and I smell bad, but we all do so it's ok.
