THE 2nd CUNNING, CRYPTIC, CLUE, CONUNDRUM, THING
After all the snow-shoveling many of us have been doing lately, I figured we could do with a bit of fun, so I’m hosting another movie quiz.
Just like the last time, I’m going to give you the answers before you even start. All you have to do is match those answers to the corresponding clues, but be warned, you’ll have to think literally, laterally (and perhaps even squint a bit) to stand a chance of scoring 100%.
Here’s an example of how to match the clue to the movie title.
CLUE: Our planet is not a French egg.
ANSWER: The World is Not Enough
What sick, twisted logic brings us to that conclusion?
Well, I’m glad you asked. The French for ‘an egg’ is ‘un oeuf’ which gives you: ‘Our planet is not un oeuf.’ From there, you change ‘Our planet’ to ‘The World’ and Bob’s your uncle, you’ve found the matching movie title.
I've set out the clues in the form of a poll. The correct answer to each clue matches one of the movie titles listed beneath the poll - I’ve muddied the waters a little by throwing in a few superfluous titles. All you have to do is match the clues to their corresponding movies by putting the titles in the relevant text boxes.
