CAN YOU SOLVE THIS CUNNING, CRYPTIC, CONNUNDRUM?
With Christmas just a few days away, I thought it might be fun to host a movie quiz.
However, because I’m such a helpful fellow, I’m going to give you the answers before you even start. All you have to do is match those answers to the clues, but be warned, you’ll have to think literally, laterally (and perhaps even squint a bit) to stand a chance of scoring 100%.
Here’s an example of how to match the clue to the movie title.
CLUE: Our planet is not a French egg.
ANSWER: The World is Not Enough
What sick, twisted logic brings us to that conclusion?
Well, I’m glad you asked. The French for ‘an egg’ is ‘un oeuf’ which gives you: ‘Our planet is not un oeuf.’ From there, you change ‘Our planet’ to ‘The World’ and Bob’s your uncle, you’ve found the matching movie title.
