so, i was really hoping ladytron would be in miami for the wmcon, but i guess they're not going. feckin' gay.

but, they are playing in chicago in april, and i was planning on going up there around then to peep schools. so... maybe i will schedule my trip around that. it would be fucking sweet, no doubt!

i'm actually going to be in miami on those days for a music festival. :\

i'm a little disillusioned with photo conferences right now, as i just attended (this first day) of the imaging one they had here in austin. i found the speakers to not be all that great, and the majority of the audience to be a bunch of idiots. some of the questions people were asking greg gorman literally made me want to stand up in the chair and start vomiting everywhere! ;)

but don't listen to me! i'm sure it'll be fun.

I went to the one in Portland last year and it was amazing. There were some great speaekers, and some not so great ones. The city was awsome and I made some great friends from around the nation the I keep touch with regularly. The best part was getting my portfolio reviewed from different educators, artisit, gallery directors. But I'm not that pumped for Chicago since I'm not really a photo student anymore. I just need a freaking vacation! And plane tickets are cheap from omaha! I was going to ask you about that conference you went to...good to know!
