I spent some time recently explaining to a bunch of folks who would probably be labeled "conservative" that it's really a bad idea to call Obama names or make various ad hominem attacks. Really, it's bad form and will make many folks consider you a wingnut.
I found this clip to be an entertaining bit of political theater, but the added captions really were a bit offensive and certainly encourage me to think that the author of those captions is obnoxious and not to be trusted. By association, it also reduces my trust in many of the folks who are considered "liberal".
The added captions were more offensive to you than Fox and Glenn Beck promoting tax protests 24/7 months after a new president is elected, after having done nothing and said nothing about the Bush administration's spending for 8 years? More offensive than putting Glenn Beck's words into the mouth of Thomas Paine, the author of Agrarian Justice? More offensive than the comparison of the actions of the elected government with those of al Qaeda?
Neat.
What was offensive, specifically? The suggestion that Glenn Beck should be viewed as an object of ridicule?

Just my thoughts.
