Unsatisfactory houscleaning
Beth hired Merry Maids to clean the house today. Unfortunately, they were overzealous in throwing away stuff. Part of the scale came off; I found it in the trash. They also got into my keepsakes shelf, and I found most of that in the trash too (some items not found at all). There was a bit of other random breakage, but I was able to fix that with some glue.
There were also a number of violations of the "put it back where you found it" rule. The step-stool that Peter sits on in the kitchen wound up across the house next to the front door.
They claim "satisfaction guaranteed", but apparently that means that if you're not happy they'll send them out to clean some more. While there were some cobwebs missed and the like, I don't think sending them out again will really improve my satisfaction.
