Team Fortress 2
Reviewing all my steam games, perhaps a little slowly. And I’ve gotten behind so this is going to be a quick review of a game I haven’t yet played. Just so you know what I was looking for or thinking of when I bought it and all.
This time looking at Team Fortress 2.
Valve, the creators of Steam, Half-Life, Portal and at dozen other titles are behind the first Team Fortress. I haven’t played the first one much nor this one at all but from reviewers I trust Zero Punctuation assures me that Team Fortress 2 is a cleaned up version of the original.
One thing that worries me is that I understand that Valve has been giving a number of the classes in the game improvements over the years. These improvements are free, which is nice… but I haven’t played any of the characters yet so I don’t know if I want about half of them to have new weapons, toys and abilities before I get used to them without. But no matter.
I don’t tend to play many PVP or Deathmatch games, as I don’t like to fight against random internet people. So this game and it’s sequel really just await someone to challenge me to battle and then I will leap up ready to go. But for now, this game goes used.
