You can make your own dress form with a friends' help! A friend you don't mind seeing you wearing not much, since you'll want something very form fitting. Wrap plastic wrap around your torso. Then over that, either layers of duct tape or layers of plastercraft (those plaster impregnated cloth strips.) Wait until dry if necessary, cut up the sides so you can escape, and tape/plaster back together. Ta da!

I started one years ago, my mom was helping me with it, but I ran out of duct tape. Unfortunately I threw it out when I moved. But I talked Kevin into helping me make a new one, so that might be a project some weekend soon. =D
