Well, I am making progress on this radio. I fitted the side of the can with a knob for tuning and an antenna...looks pretty doofy right now. I fiddled with it and managed to get a couple crackles...

I know it looks weird but I'm going to get it to work! I just know it! ...I hear that two-tailed fox kid...Tails...he's good at this stuff too. ( Read more... )

Teehee. Radical. I hope to have this finished...soon. I'm waiting to talk to Tails. If anything, the combination of electronics and mechanics can get this working! :3

Thanks~! I sure hope so! *fiddles around* There... Now if this wire doesn't break... *extends the antenna, twists the knob* ...then this should work.

*after a moment of silence, there's a crackle and sure enough, a tinny voice can be heard echoing from the inside of the aluminum*

Hey! It's the weather report! ...I know it sounds kinda bad, but that's just because it doesn't have a proper amplifier for the audio waves and the vibrations and whatnot...oh man, I sure am glad I managed to do this! *giggles happily* I have to show Professor Oak and Goose! <3
