I somehow missed the news until the evening yesterday, and then realised the enormity of it. As natural disasters go, I can't think of anything worse.
Just thought to check the few Australians on my FL, since I'm days behind again. You of course are the only one who'd decided to move towards the fires in the last few days... You are a worry! Hope you've a few cool corners in your new abodes, and the waters keep flowing.
I knew you'd be safe, but is better to be cool as well! Well, in moderation, given you prefer the warm.
Does your new place have air-conditioning? I moved from a wooden house to this flat with brick walls, and brick really does seem to control the temperature a bit. On hot days it's cooler inside, then if the night's cool the rooms are warmish. Needs a heater in winter though.

Nor can I, I have never seen anything so ferocious.
I am very safe and - as of the past few days - very cool here. Suddenly it's gone from 46 degrees to antarctic winds.
