I am glad that I started packing two days ago. This has given me the ability to pull things out and re-arrange items. I have gone from keeping many clothes in the 'in' pile because I think they look nice to keeping clothes because I think I'll freeze to death without them. I am being reasonable, it does not happen too often

Hey, you love adventures and you're embarking on a new one. Yes, it's hard to leave people and a life behind, but you're moving towards something that is going to help you in finding a new life. Besides, phones work both ways and people visit. That old addage of home not being your home anymore once you move away is bunk. I have the misfortune of living in Orange County because of school, but on weekends when I head back to Covina to visit. My room is still my room, Maisey is still my puppy, and my parents are still my parents. :)

I have to keep remembering that. I've always planned on leaving, and here I go.

This house will always be my home, even after we move away.
