1. SABER RIDER. God I fucking love that theme. And that cartoon in general. Excuse me while I cry once more over the fact that Tv no longer shows such awesome cartoons.

2. I'd totally do exactly the same. Australia, shopping, travel. Concerts and cons.

4. A PEGASUS. I kept thinking of dragons and unicorns when I asked the question, but a pegasus is obviously the supperior choice!

5. I was really confused when I first saw that term too, should had elaborated - a trope is basically something recurring across a genre. For example, fandom tropes are woke up married fic, or h/c, or genderswap, etc. Basically, themes that are recurring in fanfiction.

PS: You're at home now, right? Like, not right this second, but generally this period of time?

I constantly lament the fact that there are no more cartoons like the old ones too. The one that comes closest possibly is BenTen, but even this one is lacking. I mean, the old cartoons had *plot*. They expected the children who watched them to actually think. And there might not have been many female characters in them, but the ones that were there were as awesome as the men - they did not spend all their time worrying about their clothes or hair or boyfriends, even when they did have love interests.

I thought of a dragon too, but I've always had a thing for horses. And a unicorn, if we go for the proper depictions, isn't exactly a horse. But even if you go for the horse-with-horn depiction, a pegasus would still be superior - it can fly! :D

I thought that was what a trope might be, but I thought I'd check for sure. :) I'll update the entry later. :)

and yes, I'm at home. I won't go away on holiday til late August. No other major travels in my near future. :)

I know right! Even My Little Pony had more plot than, say, Dora the Explorer *snorts* And old cartoons had awesome concepts. And they weren't all designed for 4-year-old minds - remember that Triton cartoon? Or that old skool-animated Japanese/Chinese one with people turning into dragons and eating lots of rice balls? The one where there was this boy taking revenge or something? And it had a lot of decapitations? Those were pretty freaky cartoons, but it wasn't like we couldn't handle them. And there were ones like that animated movie about the blanket, the toaster, the lamp etc running away to find their owner who went off to college? That was so touching and sad and scary and hilarious and awesome. Why does everything have to be disgustingly cheerful and dumbed down these days?

Good, stay home and keep an eye on your mailbox for the next 2-3 business days ^_^

heeheee. :)

1. Out of all your uni subjects, which one is your absolute favourite?
2. If you could travel into any of the worlds of your fandoms, which one would it be and why?
3. Do you cook? If yes, what's your favourite dish to cook?
4. If you were a ridiculously-rich Hollywood producer, and could make *any* book into a film/series, which one would you choose?
5. If we lived in the middle ages, and assuming that gender/social status was of no consequence, what profession would you choose for yourself?
