I know!! Very happy!! it was pretty much a sure thing but it's still nice to have the announcement. Such a difference when we were sweating a 3rd season!

oh thank the gods, I started watching the show *after* the 4th season had finished - I don't even want to imagine the anxiousness of not knowing if a 3rd season would ever happen!

I've just started on season 6 too, and I was already preparing myself for the post-series loss (I got it with SG1 and Galactica as well), but now I can happily postpone it for another full year! Though it'll be torture waiting for it to end so I can watch the whole season together, lol!

(which reminds me, I wanna start on your Supernatural fics now that I've watched most of it. :D)

I started watching in the middle of the second season - I can't imagine the torture of waiting through the summer to find out who survived the car crash at the end of season 1. And now it's season 7 - i would never have believed it.

slog through is not the words I'd use - more like devour in glee. :P I'd have done it sooner, but I wanted to get far into the series first in case of spoilers, and then Castiel appeared and pretty much compelled me to read fics with him in them.
I think I can branch out now that I've read a few dozen of those... :P
