Wow, thanks. I just kind of started writing it at work and I was flabbergasted at what I had when I was done. And yes, the little piece of Candy did get in there. But if Kat ever did end up like that, I know Patrick would try to follow her.

Damn. Just. . .damn.
My favorite of all the crossovers, thus far.
Very beautifully done. I feel you balanced this well--not too overwhelmingly dark or flowery.

And fuck. Candy was such a heartbreaking movie. . .

Thank you very much. X3

And yes, Candy was such a sad movie, I still don't know how it managed to slip in there but I'm happy for that now.

isn't it surprising that once you start writing with one idea, a whole mess of others come out?

i loved how this ended, how it seemed more than one piece of art that Heath left crept in there.

and even if 10 Things will always be my favourite of his works, this is a great tribute.

Yeah, I was exposed to Heath early because of that movie and it will always be in my top three because of that. And thank you! X3

The flash-backs of the Joker talking interspersed throughout the story gave it a poetic symmetry. Wonderful job. His request was tragic, but he acts like someone who's given up on himself in the movie, even if the self-destruction comes off more as thrill-seeking than depression.

I only vaguely remembered seeing 10 things, so I had to go look up the plot and the characters on Wikipedia. What a tragic end for those characters, but it was touching to see Patrick finally confront his grief.

On a lighter note, when Patrick started smoking after he and Bruce had sex, I got a line in my head that you'll recognize if you've ever been to Rocky Horror Picture Show: 'If you're smoking after sex, you need a better lubricant!'

Thank you!

Yes, I kind of cradled this story to my chest when I finished it, I was pretty sad myself, even if Patrick got the better end of the deal on the whole. Because Joker really did give up Bruce for is brother.

'If you're smoking after sex, you need a better lubricant!'

XD, not only do I know, I'm a second generation Rocky fan. Omg that nearly made me bust a gut when I read it.

I've been a Rocky fan ever since college. There was a time when my friends and I were going every Saturday, so I had plenty of time to memorize the fan lines. My parents aren't Rocky fans themselves, but they were pretty tolerant, especially considering they knew I was wandering around downtown in a Frank costume.
