This is one of the most lovely things I have read in this fandom.

Well done.

Oh this is lovely! I've always wanted to do a poem about them but poetry is far from my thing. You pulled this off really well. Great work, as usual!

That's quite beautiful!

Is there any significance between the use of 'lies' and then 'lays' at the beginning? Because I quite like that. Something is layed down, but something lies down on its own, so the idea of them laying down trust, but compassion being there itself makes a lot of sense for those two. Or I could just be blowing steam.

Also, Terry!

That is all. >.>

I wrote this poem at three in the morning, there is a meaning behind the use of 'lies' and 'lays', yes. I'm glad someone caught it. X3

But one of the most wonderful things about poetry is that it can be interpreted differently any person who reads it, so even if that wasn't how I wrote it I would still love what you saw in it.

Terry!

I'm so glad I didn't answer this right away when I saw it, and I'll tell you why. I had just woken up and when I saw Terry I immediately wondered why you were mentioning Batman from Batman Beyond. XD

Then I was pondering that response in the shower and my mind went. 'Dummy, she's talking about the second half to one of the greatest Apocalyptic comedies ever created!' And my inner literate bitch slapped me for forgetting Terry Pratchett for a second. And this coming from a woman who owns Discworld books. My apologies for almost giving you a wonderfully idiotic answer. X3
