I hope that it just wasn't a fan. While I, myself am not a fan of Rachel, I do enjoy the fun that could be had with the pairing. He could really twist her around and fuck her up.
Probably mentally and physically speaking. ;) Now I don't know if I will have a whole lot of time to try to attempt such an entry, as my brain's been taken over by Fallout 3.. but I can try to think of how to start it.
What gets me is, I'm actually surprised she is throwing such a party. I don't know, it just didn't seem Rachel-like to me. Then again, I never fully explored her character so I could be wrong.

I wasn't a huge fan of Rachel, either when I first "made up" the pairing (I've been credited with it, yay! :P), but after making her my own, so to speak, I've grown really fond of her. And I love Maggie G after seeing her in Secretary, so that helps. But agreed, that's what I love about the pairing. ;) He can totally manipulate her into doing what he wants, because a love with them would be one-sided. Poor wittle Rachel. lol
And true, but this was initially a prompt for my Blood and Lust series, and if there ain't no lust, it can't fit. :P I like to think of Rachel having a rebellious streak, or if you don't like to think of her that way, maybe one of her friends twisted her arm into hosting it. She strikes me as a people pleaser. Hope you can write this! ;)
