Now don't hate me, but I wanted to try a Jokachel vid with Katie Holmes' Rachel. I figured I'd give the "don't hate me" speech since I was nearly crucified for making a splice with her and J last time. xP Even if you hate Katie, please give it a chance...it's actually my favorite of my Jokachel vids, and I worked really hard on it. *big puppy dog

That was incredible!!! However, I am shocked that you killed him. Don't get me wrong, I think that was a gutsy move and I'm certainly not giving you shit, I'm just surprised.

I loved the distortion in the beginning and it looked like dirt was flying by in the far background. I had a hard time understanding what he said after I need you right now, what was it he said?

Overall, I think it was terrific. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Thank you so much! :3 It's actually bats flying around in the beginning, haha, but it does kind of look like dirt now that I look more closely. xP And it's ok, I remember some people were upset when I killed J off in my crossover contest entry (Joker/Pepper Potts from Iron Man), but I felt that this seemed the natural end for these two. I kinda feel that nothing good can come of Jokachel, so either one or both of them will probably end up dead. J's death was an accident (stupid Batsy!), and Rachel would've lived if Batman hadn't killed J (again, STUPID Batsy!! lol).
Gah, and I KNOW, I hate how I couldn't get the audio any louder during that part. J said "Rachel, I need you right now. You must turn yourself in. Oh, and every day that you don't, people will die. Starting tonight. I'm a man of my worrrd." So it was basically just a re-hash of what was said in the movie. :3 Thanks for the kind words! ♥

Wow, well thanks! *starry eyes* And I know, my point exactly! I figured "Hey, if Katie was still Rachel in TDK, I would STILL be shipping this pairing, so why all the hate?" Honestly, I thought people hated MAGGIE, but that was before I realized how many people can't stand Katie. I'm guessing it's the whole Tom Cruise thing, but that's a stupid reason to hate someone. You can't help who you fall in love with. -_-' And thank you! :3 That part with J's threat took me SO freaking long, and I was perfecting it up to the last day! >_< I'm still not 100% pleased with it, but ah well. :(

Well thank you! ^^ And I agree, Maggie's great. I honestly wasn't impressed with her performance in TDK since she wasn't really given a great, outstanding role (I mean c'mon, Heath TOTALLY stole the show), but she was amaaazing in Secretary and Sherrybaby. <3 <3 <3 That's when I started loving her as an actress. :) I'm thinking of doing a Jokachel vid where Rachel takes on the form of Harley, and I could probably use Sherrybaby clips since she's blonde (for the most part) in that movie. That, and she's a heroine addict, and a Nolanverse Harley would probably have a looot of issues. lol

*warm, gushy feelings* Aww, well thank yoooou! ^^ I honestly wasn't sure how this would be taken here, considering how (for the most part) people hated my Jokachel splice with Katie. xP And I don't have anything against her either, which is why wanted to give it a try. I think I'm going to try and read your story tonight, so I'm excited, YEY. :P

It's amazing how different a Jokachel vid you can make depending on which actress you choose. The source material is so different between the two of them.

Thank you so much! :) And that's true...Maggie's movies tend to have more "lustful" material (which is surprising, if you look at them since Maggie seems more 'reserved'), while Katie's almost seem to have that traditional 'I'm a good girl!' vibe (except for a couple of her movies, like Thank You for Smoking lol).

I saw that she was in that on her website, but whenever I saw the previews, I never saw her in them. :( And earth mother type? Like...the random environmentalist people? xP lol I just might have to see it. ^^
