Look into your mind away
I'm gonna get free
I'm gonna get free
I'm gonna get free
Ride into the sunSo...like, is it worth keeping a friendship if the person never acts like a friend? Just because of the longevity of this friendship(since I was about 4 like), should I be stubborn and want it to work? Or should I just give this person a big fuck you ( Read more... )

it's quite useful to be able to distinguish between different kinds of friends...ie.casual friends, close friends, friends u should keep because it's ur duty to do so, aquaintances, useful friends etc... so instead of just giving ur friend a fuck you, just move him/her into the friends-u-should-keep-because-it's-ur-duty-to-do-so category since u've been friends for so long... so u could decrease ur quality time to greetings and that kinda thing, and not spend time with him/her or expect anything from him/her... better than ending it abruptly and on bad terms.

But what I meant was, is there a duty to keep your friends? We have nothing in common anymore and hes turned into a complete knacker - so why sould we remain friends? I mean I dont have to end it abruptly, just not call for him or hang around with him anymore....Im pretty sure he wouldnt notice the diference anyhow. Shouldnt friendshps be about...well....friendship?

yes, friendship should be technically be about friendship, but that's only if it's a proper one, like if u hang out with him etc... since u've known him for so long u at least owe him the respect of not telling him to fuck off or ending it on bad terms. just don't hang out with anymore, and u'll grow farther apart until ur 'friendship' ends on its own.

in my opinion (altho no1 asked 4 it), u should stay friends with him on a greeting-basis (i.e greet him when you meet & ask about his life) first in memory of the 'good ol' days' second, because you never know if you might need him afterwards, however you should acknowledge that you drifted apart & not try to hang to what was or what could have been... (so that crosses out the 'fuck-off' option lol)

Well I actually meant a more sort of metaphorical "fuck-off" rather then actually being a nasty guy....besides I definatly wouldnt use "have a good one" in real life....it was just to show that I WAS being ....err....metaphorical? I dunno the word, Im sure t'will come to me in a while.
