chriso had surgery yesterday to remove a <2 cm sized nodule of stage 1 cancer from her right breast, the surgeon also took her first lymph node for testing

Time was, everyone I knew had a Kaiser horror story. Those days are in the dim and distant past, and almost everyone gridlore and I dealt with there while we had KP coverage through his last job was fantastic - so much so that Doug plans on calling them to look into going back when his Medicare kicks in this summer.

So very glad to hear that the surgery was uneventful; best wishes for a clean post-op report.
