I am reading an interview with Ulli Haarbürste, who is, of course, the creator of the masterful Roy Orbison in Clingfilm oeuvre. He says:
Neither of us like the term 'fan fiction', by the way, we find it demeaning and ghettoising. We prefer the term 'Obsession Art'.

It is, isn't it? *beams*

I wonder how long you left Roy wrapped in clingfilm. I like how whenever you do unwrap him, you are chided for unwrapping him too soon.

Wow. Thank you for introducing me to such wonders as Roy Orbison in cling-film. I wonder though, if the use of the term 'cling-film' as opposed to 'seran-wrap', is a cultural thing.

Well, we call it Glad Wrap here (good branding on Glad's part, they have a monopoly) or cling wrap(?), so I think it just depends what country you're in. But even so, in the pure form of the Roy Orbison in Clingfilm genre, I feel it is important to use the term clingfilm. Otherwise something is lost, some poetry in the text, some classical elegance. At least, that's how I see it. ;)

And no worries! I am always happy to spread the love of Roy Orbison in Clingfilm. I admit it changed my life when I first stumbled across it. :D
