It's been a while since I saw the X-men movie, but the characters did feel IC to me with their little affectionately teasing exchanges,
“You might not be able to call out names of flowers in your sleep, after all.”
He smiles at that one.
“That is,” she adds, “Presuming you don’t do that already?”

And the sex was, weirdly, oddly, rather hot. Says the girl who' thought she wasn't into cutting or bloodplay.

While writing it, I didn't think it was either particularly hot or even sex. Though I guess it is kinda sex - an interesting type of sex anyway. But I'm glad you found it hot. :D

I was surprised to find myself enjoying one of the perks of my job - working with knives. Mostly blunt knives unfortunately. Though I still manage to cut myself occasionally and it's actually not that much fun. Though Wolverine's claws are WAY HAWT, so maybe it's different with claws. ... ok, I'll stop talking now.

It's a new tag! I've only used it once and I can't imagine I'll use it that much. (don't want people to mistake me for a filthy het. ew.) But if being het is having someone as hot of wolverine cut you with their hot claws, then it might not actually be that bad. It seems surprisingly kinky. ;P

This fic isn't my usual cup of tea, but it was well written and fit the context of both characters.

Claw sex isn't something that I'd ever want, mind you, but at least Marie's getting some somehow.

I'm not particularly into claw/blood-play either, but that scene from the first film planted the bunny that wouldn't go away. And you know how it is with bunnies.

It's an interesting way to make out, to say the least. I liked the emotions and the pace of this fic. It's well-written darkness. I loved the lavdner-part, and Logan describing all the things he smells. Lovely.
