Does anyone watch COLLECTORS???!?! (ABC TV, Fridays, 8pm) Am I the only one to love this dorky little show?? Am I the only one who wishes there was a nice little RPS fandom* for it out there??!? PLEASE TELL ME I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE! D

Years ago there was fabulae, a mailing list for fic from Australian shows. IIRC there was a lot of Good News Week on it, but it wasn't the only thing represented.

Hmm. But I think Collectors - though having been on for a while (how long exactly IDK) - might be a bit too recent? IDK, that's just my guess. My google-fu is letting me down. *le sigh*

BUT-BUT-BUT... HAVE YOU WATCHED IT??! CAN'T YOU SEE THE SLASH POTENTIAL??! It's, er, almost like Top Gear, except gentler, with less homophobia and next to no cars! So it's dorky like James May and sweet like Hammond and no Clarkson. And there's a Scot on it! Tell me you don't have a thing for Scottish accents?! ;P

Quite possibly, but fabulae was active for quite a long time, I just haven't checked it in years.

But I kinda like Top Gear the way it is, lol! I wouldn't change any of it ;-)

I think I have seen some Collectors, but not a great deal. I don't actually watch much broadcast TV at all, just about everything I watch is downloaded or on DVD. I miss a lot of stuff like this because I just never think to watch regular telly.
