also! you live criminally close to 14th street- you've got taco trucks galore, with barbacoa, lengua, cabeza and all that goodness. beef tendon noodle soup is so goodgoddamn! we'd eat fisheye growing up, fish fin, fish cheeks, all that goodness.

Again, tried the beef tendon soup. Not a fan.

Got to try the fish cheeks, though.

Dim Sum...check it out~you'll be eatin' chicken feet fried crispy.
All manner of strange bits show up there.Think I ate a duck head that way once.

Mmmmm, liver. Before I knew what I was eating, as a kid, Braunsweiger was my favorite. And liverwurst & sauteed onion hoagies (furreal).Mmmm.And pate.
Tasty stuff.

Ohhhh... I love offal.

Sweet breads are great. Liver's great too, but risky, because if it's not prepared well, it's awful (I've not yet succeeded in pulling it off myself). Heart is tough and not very flavorful. Tripe is kinda uninteresting. Tongue's good. If you can find a place that has good blood sausage, that's one of the best things I've ever eaten.
