Omg, I just finished watching it please excuse my emotional ramble in advance. From the point where Wilf knocked I was a pile of emotional goo (with a mickey/martha WTF, REALLY? moment thrown in). The combination of the oods' song, him tossing his coat on the coral for the last time, and his last words had me crying harder than a 13 year old watching titanic circa 1998.

THIS! I was already crying really hard, so I started positively sobbing when he said his last line.

I couldn't even stop mourning Tennant long enough to appreciate any bit of Matt Smith's appearance. I really wanted to give him a chance, but was too busy going "NO! STOP LEAVING! NOOOOOOOOOO!"

lol, I think Matt Smith showing up when no one wants Ten to go combined with him morphing from Tennant's gorgeous face makes for the most unfortunate first appearance ever. YOU HAVE AN UPHILL BATTLE, MY FRIEND.

OMFG YES. They finally had all that Master/Time Lord crap out of the way and then OMG WHUT, IT'S WILF?!?! Like everything was so huge and they kept making you think lameass Time Lords were going to do Ten in, and then it comes about in this unexpected, understated way that's actually completely epic without all the special effects. Once they got all that showy stuff out of they way, they were able to get to the heart of the episode. It was extremely fitting and satisfying that Ten's end should come about not from some gigantic end-of-time, trace-the-signal Time Lord blah, but from one small, well-intentioned human whom he cares about.

Ten's last words... ho-ly shit. As if the entire viewing audience wasn't gutted enough already, Ten has to be so sad and desperate. They just had to let us know how much Ten didn't want to go. AND TEN WE DON'T WANT YOU TO GO EITHER COME BACK TO US AND BRING MORE TISSUES WAAAAH.

p.s. "The universe will sing you to your sleep."

OMG SUPER
