Wow, I don't quite know if it was the most productive use of your time, but the results are pretty stunning!

I think It's Kickin' In is a great Costello "cover". Very "Get Happy"esque.

Haha, thanks. Had this taken up more of my time I would have been concerned, but it was actually pretty easy to figure out and didn't take long at all. Although I did originally have this post tagged with "perhaps I need a better hobby."

"It's Kickin' In" has always reminded me of Costello, too, but more This Year's Model than Get Happy. Definite keyboard similarities, and I think Flans's vocals are more akin to the former album. A little more punk, a little less R&B.

Fair enough... I usually just think of Costello in Attractions and post-Attractions, but I think you're right.
