does anyone who lives near me (you know who you are) want to join me for a freight train ridin/hitch hikin trip to savannah, georgia as soon as possible? i plan on staying maybe 2 or 3 days so if any of you have 2 or 3 days off work or school any time soon then now's the time! it's time to go to the coast!

yo i'd probably be more into riding trains there. there's actually a line that goes from atlanta to griffin to macon that i was thinking about hitting up on the way to savannah. see some griffinites, it would rule.

Man, I really want to try it out. I work 7 days a week though so I dont think that would be an option right now. I will be hitch hiking a lot in the near future though when I walk to Maine. In order to get off the trail and in to towns, you have to hitch a ride.

dude if you hitch hike anywhere near the appalachian trail people are sooo nice to you. i was somewhere near it in like new hampshire or massachussetts or something and people were unbelievably friendly. i cut myself and this woman took me to her van and gave me a bunch of medical shit and bandaged me up. it ruled so much and we got rides so often. i had this big goofy framepack from like the late 70's probably. it was so much fun.
