Bummer you won't be at AADB, but enjoy ACB!

Yeah, I'll be interested in hearing about AADB also. Isn't this your first time going to that?

Yes it is and I'm so excited. Sometimes I feel really left out at blindness conventions and it can be stressful because in the past ACB and NFB have not been at all eager or willing to provide interpreters. But this is all ASL, for me, so I'm excited to be able to actually participate in meetings without it being a huge issue.

Oh dude, this time we really must plan to meet in person for sure. We missed each other last time and were even on the same tour it seems. LOL! So yeah, this time for sure.

Yeah, it would've been fun to meet you on that cruise. I had fun talking to the woman with whom I'd been paired, though.
I'm supposed to arrive at the Reno airport at 10:05 AM, really early departure from NC but it means I get more day!

I don't envy you the crazy academic days! I look back on them fondly, but it's also all too easy for people to forget how hard it all was...

Isn't it amazing how much difference a sofa can make?? It took me about a month upon moving to the condo before I got a living room set. Not only did it make the room LOOK entirely different, but it's just one of those things...you don't appreciate a place to sprawl out until you don't have one, lol.
