Today was my first day of college.

I read the Tucson Weekly (even though its a xenophobic newspaper disguised as an "alternative liberal" one)and found an interesting article about the huge size of classes in the UA.
If the size of your classes is the same as those mentioned in the article I feel extremely sorry for you.
Excuse me while I go to Pima for 1/4 of the tuition you're paying and get a good education and more interaction with the teacher.
