I think....I have just started wank. I quoted something from tumblr as an illustration of how some people seem to get women's issues but not class in Downton Abbey, and now they've found and screencapped my comment and stuck it on tumblr and I have just replied to them in their ask box in what is possibly the stupidest thing I have done in a while

Easiest thing (and hardest, if you always like to get the last word!) is to ignore and walk away from the wank. Locking down any public pages you might have can also sometimes help.

And, thank you; it's really kind of you to say that. I feel like I probably won't bring it up in ONTD again though, that might just be a recipe for more disaster...

On tumblr you basically can't express an opinion without someone jumping down your throat. Or have a sense of humour. The best thing to do I think is to never descend to their level, ignore it if possible, and never say anything you'd regret (hahahahah oh god). And in the mean time, revel in your newfound notoriety. :P

Thanks for the advice, I think I'm going to go the 'ignore' route on the nasty comments. Who knew that accusing a fandom of not being as PC at it thinks it is would get so nasty?

Oh, and thank you for writing a little ficlet in response to my request. I love it - particularly modern!Daisy. She was wonderful.

Aw, thank you for the birthday wishes - it was in fact my birthday, I didn't put a fake one. And thanks for the cake, I'll appreciate it more considering you loathe Downton but found it anyway.
