Also, Prince William works for the Royal Navy as a search and rescue pilot

Prince William works for the Royal Air Force as a Search and Rescue pilot. You might perhaps have noticed the fact that he got married in RAF uniform? Or that the RAF band played at the wedding? Or that the RAF March was played during the signing of the register? :-)

Oops, yes, sorry, I've corrected that :) Apparently he did some training with the Royal Navy, so that's probably where I got confused.

And no, I didn't notice any of those clues. I was curious about his uniform, and I assumed it was something like "honorary commander" (or at least the sash). Ditto for Prince Harry's uniform, since I assume that most people at his rank don't have that much gold braid. I recognised the Imperial March, which they played on the big TV screens at about 07:30 on the big screens: I think it was the Volkswagon advert, but I couldn't see the screen from where I was (roaming around on my bike), so I just thought it was an odd choice for a wedding...

Actually, my (ex-RAF) mother informs me that he was wearing an Irish Guards uniform - Muphry's Law strikes again!
