I don't see the big whoop about this `new` guideline. So it was leaked, big deal. In its basic form its almost the same as the old one I helped write back in 99/00, except for a slightly clearer answer as to what action will be taken on a particular complaint (or in LJ's case now, won't be). Apparently they haven't learned to control the infighting either... which is one of the main reasons I left support.
As for the viewall tool, when I ran Abuse only a few people besides Brad and Mark Kraft (and maybe one or two others) had access to it... myself and the assistant manager. This was done for a reason. If they've given it to everyone on the team, it was the wrong thing to do.
Well, the important thing about it in general is that for people who aren't familiar with such processes (or those who are but still scratch their heads about much of what LJ Abuse does), it may help to clear up some misconceptions and explain why they act in seemingly different ways at times. To LJ Abuse's credit, they get a lot of shit for cases they've most likely handled properly. However, I can't say why releasing an almost fully formed draft would cause such a problem, as there was nothing in there particularly shocking or offensive.
From everything that has said, it is implied that Viewall is still tightly restricted. Some have said that only actual paid employees of Danga have it at this point. That Rahaeli was the one who used it would further that claim. Of course, everything that has been implied would have also led me to believe that they'd hold themselves back from using it in a case as silly as this.
LiveJournal Support/Abuse has enough drama to have its own daily newspaper. I don't think that will ever change.
Oh don't know who you are but what you said to me was rude. First off it may make me sound retarted but I don't know what a flame war is...but I will bring Jesus up when some lil noodle-legged weasle is going to say such horrible things about Him. You can curse and swear all you want, but there are some things people just shouldn't say. Secondly, no I wouldn't talk physics to a tree...I haven't said anything nasty to that person at all besides the fact that he is scary. Which I believe is a given. And he's going to start calling me a "cunt" and "worthless whore" I think I'm allowed to correct him on his usage considering he doens't know me. So, if your one of his lil lackeys tell him to give back Nessa's journal, the orignal DarthPluto. :P
Wow, you really don't seem to get it. First off, before I comment on what I said, a flame war is basically an extended and rather heated argument on an online discussion board, or in this case, darthpluto's comments. In fact, most of the recent entries are perfect examples. Now, if I may explain

That was soooooooooooooooooo long. Not that it was bad...I'm just saying...oh crap n/m. I wasn't meaning to say anything about Jesus to stir anything up. And I'm not saying that people shouldn't be able to speak freely...I would just think that people have some sort of decency
