That literally made my jaw drop with shock and horror. How awful.

The thing that gets me... besides the obvious... is that it's not just one of those "one crazy fucker doing something incomprehensible" things. There must have been multiple people involved, a whole hierarchy of employees, and nobody stuck up their hand and said "Say, are you sure this is a good idea?"? What is wrong with all those people??
