you would not believe how long I turned this very question over in my head and I still might change it.

Right now, it's coming down to a matter of what is authentic -- Kiss, while they are better than MJ in a number of ways, are not zombies. They are demons and aliens and furries. So it is not appropriate for zombies to re-enact the classic Destroyer album cover, while it is appropriate for them to re-enact Thriller.
