[RP] Step inside, now, watch me fall and watch me float, 'cause we are changing structures…

Thane was not planning on making an emergency health recall back to home base. He was especially not planning on doing so with his skin dripping in clumps off his skeleton(  )

While everyone else in the room stares at Thane in horror, the Doctor just watches with an impassive expression of distaste, recoiling a little as Thane falls to the floor. Not that he expects whatever it is would be dangerous to Time Lords, he just... really doesn't want pieces of Thane on him.

"That was not his cleverest idea ever," he comments calmly, staring at the body. "Careful you don't touch him," he adds, in Andy and Tosh's direction. "If it helps, it's probably not airborne."

Andy is still staring in mute horror, but she kicks herself out of it long enough to glance at the Doctor. Right. Well.

"What happened to him?" she demands. And then startles back as Thane's body twitches, the skin and muscle starting to regrow. Slowly, for those familiar with the usual process of revival but the Rani's compound is quick-degrading. Andy is just making sure to keep herself between Thane and Tosh - Guardian instincts, and all that.

"As far as I can tell..." Well, there are only so many things in Chicago that could do that, and only so many Thane is likely to have come in contact with... "I think he went after a friend of mine. Well. I say friend. Acquaintance. She doesn't like... people."

And Thane would not have made the best impression. Not like it's a victory of any kind, but the Doctor can't help but smirk a little to himself.

Cue another round of staring.

After a moment, she exhales. Right. Well. She's going to survive this, she's going to get these people out of here if that's actually possible, and then she's going to go back to her nice fast-paced job as a paramedic until she finds her ward and settles down in their general region and never has to deal with anything stranger than the run-of-the-mill Chicago flotsam and jetsam and oh, who is she kidding. Right. Bright side. None of the people in this room are my ward. ...that's the bright side.

"He's not... infectious, is he?" Because biological warfare is just what she needed to round out her day.
