This is John, on his shift cooking dinner. He has got a recipe book propped open on the counter, as well as some tender greens and herbs laid out, and there are strips of rabbit meat on the cutting board. There is also the basket of crackplot apples that Rosencrantz brought in, but John will be damned if he makes anyone here a cobbler

"That's can't be true. You like women when they're onstage and singing. Even in Annie Get Your Gun." He'll poke through the recipe book until he finds a recipe. It's not being helpful; he just wants a decent dinner. Really.

That's different. They can't get to me from onstage. *looks at the recipe John's chosen and makes a face* That one? Really?

"Unless you can find a better one--"

*flips through, finds one, and shows it to John for approval*

*snorts* If we had a ham bone, that might be useful.

[notsincecarrie]

*sighs* We don't have much, do we?

[john_ofdarkness]

*gesture to the rabbit entrails/bones in one bowl, and the fur/skin/etc. in another* Not really, no.

Great. Back to your recipe.

*flips back to it* Have fun. I'll be dumping the refuse and hoping it doesn't bring wolves.

*then goes and finds a nice, distant, ill-used looking place and flings the refuse as far away as he can without losing the bowls--returning, and setting to dishes* We'll need to set up a roster for detergent-makers soon enough. We're running low.

Do we even have detergent-making materials?

How should I know? I've never made detergent. Not even soap. *contemplative* Not even candles.

You don't think we'll need those, do you? The plothole will come back before it gets to that point?
