Writer's blocks

I'm really short of ideas on anything to write, so I'm going to do a bunch of "writer's block" thingies. They're looking for short answers, so I think that'll give me something....

And I relate to Ellie - she is the best of me, everything I would ever want to be ... and won't. But I love her to pieces!

It was either that or Manha de Carnivale from the movie Black Orpheus, which was translated as "A day in the life of a fool", but I thought that was too obscure unless you're a Vince Guaraldi fan like me.
