So I read the first two Dresden novels and I'm not really digging it the way everyone said I would. Does the series get significantly better, worse, or stay about the same? I don't know that I really want to read ten more books like this, but if it gets better I'll go ahead ( Read more... )

While Harry's status quo does change and the overall story continuity gets thicker, I'd say that the tone of the series remains the same throughout. If you dragged through the ones you read and didn't actually enjoy them then I would say you won't like any of the others.
