I am too cheap to get cable, and I really can only receive one broadcast channel.  (This may be a problem with my TV or antenna; many of my neighbors can receive three or four channels.)  Anyway, the one time I really miss having TV reception is during sports playoffs - of late, baseball.  I am not really a big enough baseball fan to seek out

I'm glad you're blogging. You should come up to Oakland soon. I'm not blogging, much. Everything feels TOO FUCKING MUCH. But at least Mark just did his gentle persuasion thing (I don't understand how that operates; it's not the language he uses to convince me I should do work I've avoided... maybe it's the completely unpushy tone?) tonight and I finally did some work on that goddamned online mainstreaming course. Tomorrow night I will be at Cal State - East Bay until 9 PM, violently resenting the fact that I have to be there, and rushing around like a headless chicken trying to register for the class and pay some hideous amount with a credit card when they don't want me to do that. Bastards. I hate them. It's making me hyperventilate even thinking about this. Fuck.
