Aw, well done - you've written such a lot of good things! And, I dunno, I think Anne/Frederick came in via ficathon which raises the profile, and then it's just good fic. Pat yourself on the back and enjoy it. ;-p

I can see I've already used up my 'fishing for compliments' quota for this year, and it's only 1 January!

And I do think the fandom can make a sizeable difference; Persistence has clocked up ten times as many hits as the other two fics from that ficathon.

It's not so much 'how many' as 'how long'; this year they were mostly short.

As for fic with Susan Q in it: like strawberry fondant, the situation is fluid.
