My first name is often pronounced without the -h- and sounds like "Joanna."

In Australia, monitor lizards are called goanna. Which explains this pic for my blog. Also, I love Aboriginal painting.

Actually, there's all sorts of Goannas in Australia, and the sizes vary.

During WWII, my mother jumped into a trench when an air raid siren rand at her school. In the trench was a Goanna. I don't know which one got the biggest shock, my mum or the goanna!
