Heck - you have Memorized big portions of the Koran.

We remember the time you recited 'Al Fatiha' as healing for
us.

It works, too...

Ask me to recite "Ya Sin" from memory sometime... it takes about 11 minutes to get through. That's the longest chunk I ever memorized, but it's tiny in comparison to what real memorizers do, they can reel it off for hours nonstop.

I'm wondering what happened to A People's History of the United States, The Satanic Verses, Steal This Book, you know.

Currently in the middle of APHotUS, just read about the 1921 Seattle strike, nowadays everyone takes capitalism for granted, right about then it was a very open question. Nobody ever hears about that now.

I saw Of Mice and Men onstage. Or should I have to start a separate list of banned theater... I saw Equus too...

Movies I have seen without reading the books:

Carrie
Catch-22
Cujo
East of Eden
Harry Potter (series)
House of Spirits
James and the Giant Peach
Madame Bovary (I saw the Bollywood Hindi remake of it, does that count?)
Les Miserables
Moll Flanders
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Satyricon
Steppenwolf
Women in Love

Wow. Some of those it just seems silly they'd be banned anywhere. Like The Red Pony, why the heck would that be banned? Was a good story, but didn't seem to me like it was scandalous or anything, rather upsetting, but not anything to be banned *shrug* Weird. People are just weird...
