How do you go about figuring out your own way to Witch something?

Speaking of drumming, I saw this movie on saturday night called Favela Rising (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0455949/). Before the movie played there was one man on stage drumming. Both lynx and I looked at each other and said there needs to be about a half dozen more people on stage with drums...

Then in the movie was the most amazing drumming I've ever seen/heard. The energy was incredible, and very male. I would have loved to be there, or in any drum circle like that, I'm sure it would be incredible because even just watching it in the movie I could feel that energy and power, magickal undercurrent like you say. LoL, I was gonna write about this in my own journal but just been too busy thinking about it, so very interesting what you wrote :)

Who do you drum with? There is a "drum circle" around here, but it's only for women so I don't go to it.

There is an all-women's drum circle in DC that I've been to. There are drum circles in Takoma Park, Malcolm X Park, Dupont Circle, Leesburg, and I don't know where all else. Drums are very popular here. We have a considerable African population.
