Though they may be talking about something else.

For example, my natal birth is 18th October, putting me firmly in Libra. My surgery was on 26th October which might make me more of a Scorpio afterwards.

Every 10 years some astronomer does this and causes an uproar. Then I have to explain to my friends who are not astrologers that tropical astrology is about the equinoxes and the elliptical lines -- AND DON'T LISTEN TO ASTRONOMERS.
