2008 Visions in Feminism conference

On Saturday the 29th I went with invisione to the Visions in Feminism Conference at American University. The conference was pretty amazing, it was SOOOO college student, and by far, *not* your mom's feminism! :) It seemed to be entirely college student conceived, planned, and executed, no trace of old-lady stuff there! OMG, I was on campus Friday, too! I was busy though, and the people in the GLBTA office didn't even know about that talk late in the afternoon about transvestite history. I wish I had known you were going to be there. I know exactly what you mean about college students, and it's so weird being one of them. Now that it's been over a year, I am very very college-girly now.

I was on campus Friday too, honey-- we went to the interfaith event Not in Our Name: United Against Domestic Violence on Friday night. Went home and came right back to the same building first thing in the morning.
