I know it's been ages, but I just wanted to pop over and say that I'm so happy to see so many things on that list crossed off. It makes me very happy to see people out and living their dreams, and you've faced so much adversity that it makes your accomplishments all the greater. You're brilliant.

Ah thanks, Heks...how's things with you? I see your updates from time to time and I wonder how you're doing. I miss our chats on AIM :D

I'm doing pretty well. I just started Grad School. I'm going for a Master's of Fine Arts in Design and Technology. I'm up to my eyeballs in work, but I haven't enjoyed myself this much in a REALLY long time.

In a way, you inspired me to buckle down and apply. I really wasn't certain I'd get in, but I was sick of whinging and whining about my life not being what I wanted, but not doing anything about it. I saw what you were doing, and it encouraged me.

I miss our chats, too. I quit AIM ages ago, because I kept getting spammed with bots and pervs, but I'm on yahoo, still, and I'm on Skype, too. I'm up all hours, so, I'd be able to chat, again.

I'm joeybug on Skype too, send me a friend thingy and we could chat again. I saw from your journal that you were doing Grad school and I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying it so much :D

Sometimes working really hard until you have no time and all you're doing is work can help. I know that although I have a year left of uni, I still love being in the thick of essays and revision as well as book stuff, gives me a buzz to be so busy...just have to be careful that it doesn't also drown into anxiety about being so busy!

I would love to chat with you again, so I'll look for that friend thingy on Skype :D

I have some Beanie Baby monkkeys! I want to part with some of them because they aren't the investment I wanted them to be, but I want my BBs to go to a loving home. Awesome! On SO's next day off I'll go with him and dig through our storage for BBs and see what I can find. I know I have an orangutan [not exactly a monkey, does that count?] and a spider monkey at least.

Hey, we used to be friends on LJ when I had a different name, but I fell out of it for a long time. I'm back on, and though this journal is mostly about weight loss and organizing my life, I do still talk about some of my interests, like writing, which was why we had added each other in the first place.
