I've done a whole heap of research and have just finished reading through everything I have and highlighting what I'll need to mention or know. I just have a few questions about the Muslim faith and writing about it. Hi there,

I'm a Muslim and when we mention the Prophet we say "sall' Allahu 'alaihi wa sallam" which means "may God bless him and bestow peace upon him". When writing in things like articles on Islam aimed at Muslims, we write it as well (it is usually written in small type so it appears in block form, not in "string" form like Arabic normally does).

However, we do not expect a non-Muslim to say that. Muslims do get offended at attempts to depict the Prophet but the blessing is only expected of Muslims.
