No, don't worry, I haven't written another four chapters in the few hours since I posted my last update. I'm fast, but not *that* fast! I have, however, been working on the plot line and character notes for books 11 and 12. Up until yesterday I knew what book 12 would be about, I just hadn't gotten round to planning it yet, but I had no idea what

It would be very relevant to your interests if you're looking into researching trans* characters - I'm sure she'd be delighted to answer any questions about her research into it, as she being a cis woman obviously had similar concerns as you about not offending people. The book is amazing too - I highly recommend it obviously!

Thanks for the info. I'm not really looking to research trans* characters as I feel I know so little about them and the struggles they go through that I would offend and upset a great number of people, but I'll PM her and see if she has some info on minority gay/lesbian people and/or gay/lesbian/trans*/queer/bisexual teenagers and what they will have to deal with in life.
